This week, we are celebrating young people who are growing businesses, creating jobs, and transforming Zimbabwe’s future through agribusiness.

Our latest report showcases the inspiring stories of young agripreneurs whose innovation, resilience, and determination are driving change in their communities. At Restless Development Zimbabwe, we are proud to support young people to lead the change our country needs.

Every young person has a story. Sometimes, all they need is the opportunity to be heard.

This inspiring story follows a young leader who gained the confidence to speak up, influence decisions, and make a difference in their community.

At Restless Development Zimbabwe, we believe that when young people lead, communities thrive. One voice can inspire many. One opportunity can change a life.

We are at in Rio de Janeiro, joining global partners and young leaders to champion a healthier, more equitable future for all.

One message is clear: sustained investment in the Global Fund is essential. Through its partnerships, the Global Fund has helped save 70 million lives and continues to expand access to HIV, TB and malaria prevention, treatment and care around the world.

By 2030, an estimated 1.3 billion young people will shape our shared future. They deserve to inherit a world where HIV, TB and malaria are no longer major public health threats. As global leaders look ahead, continued investment in the Global Fund will be critical to protecting decades of progress, strengthening health systems, and ensuring life-saving services reach the communities that need them most.

Young people are leaders, advocates and partners in ending HIV, TB and malaria. Together, we can sustain the momentum and build a healthier future for everyone.

We are at the 26th International AIDS Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This week, Restless Development joins governments, researchers, donors, UN partners, communities, and young people from around the world for AIDS 2026, under the theme “Rethink. Rebuild. Rise.”

The conference is shaping critical conversations on scaling up long-acting HIV prevention, strengthening health systems, advancing country ownership, sustaining research, and driving innovation to accelerate the global HIV response.

Young people are not just part of the conversation, they are leading change, influencing policy, and driving community-led solutions that leave no one behind. We are proud to be part of this global movement, learning, sharing, and championing youth-led action towards an AIDS-free future.

At the Pan-African Parliament, Restless Development Youth Accountability Champion Mputa Ngalande shared youth perspectives on the AU 2026 Theme of the Year: Sustainable Water Availability & Safe Sanitation.

Drawing on evidence from across Africa, Mputa highlighted how water insecurity affects young people’s health, livelihoods, and future, including the devastating Sino-Metals disaster in Zambia.

Young people are calling for more than a seat at the table; they want meaningful participation in shaping solutions. Together, we urge leaders to strengthen accountability, protect water resources, and invest in youth-led green innovation.

It’s time to move from tokenism to co-creation.

Today we are at the Pan-African Parliament in South Africa presenting findings from our youth-led research on meaningful youth participation in governance and policy making across Africa.

Young people are not asking for invitations to the table. They are asking to help design the table.
