Every child deserves a childhood filled with play, not hospitals. This International Children’s Day, we stand with kids facing cancer and push for a future where they can just be kids again. 💛

Farewell & Thanks
On Tuesday, we said goodbye to Ben Gilpin from Oak Foundation
Ben has been instrumental in building the partnership between and KidzCan Zimbabwe.
Oak’s funding has been pivotal — we wouldn’t be where we are today in supporting children with cancer without it.
Thank you, Ben, for your dedication and support.
Wishing you all the best for what’s next, and a warm welcome to Karl Riber as he takes the baton.

Historic day for childhood cancer care in Zimbabwe!🎗️

The Rainbow Children’s Village is now open — providing free accommodation for 48 caregivers and patients in twin-bedded rooms.
Built through the partnership of Round Table, Meikles Foundation & KidzCan Zimbabwe.
From 5 rooms in 2023 → 10 in 2024 → 9 more today.
Thank you to all partners and donors who made this possible and gave these kids a fighting chance.

Siphosami’s Fight – Told by Her Mother
2015. Age 3.
Two words changed everything: Wilms tumour. ( Kidney cancer )
Our world stopped.
We wrestled with fear, sleepless nights, and questions that had no easy answers. It was hard to accept. But breaking was never an option.
Then we found KidzCan.
Suddenly, we weren’t walking this road alone.
Every appointment, every procedure, every stage of treatment—we showed up together.
There were voices around us. Relatives talked. People offered advice we hadn’t asked for.
We listened, but we stayed focused on what mattered: Siphosami’s fight.
And she fought.
Hard.
And she won.
Today, Siphosami is 13.
Today, she’s a survivor.
In 2026, she’s in Form 2—laughing with friends, learning in class, living the life we once only prayed for.
From diagnosis to victory, Siphosami’s journey carries one message:
With faith, the right support, and a refusal to give up, children can beat cancer.
Thank you, KidzCan.
Thank you to our friends and family who stood with us every step of the way.
Your support helps more children like Siphosami get a fighting chance.
By donating to KidzCan, you fund diagnosis, treatment, and the care that turns fear into hope.
Join us in giving more kids the chance to laugh, learn, and live.

Walking through the woods with purpose 🌳💛
Marondera showed up, laughed, chatted, and walked together — turning the trail into a reminder of what community looks like. Just people turning out for people, one step at a time.

Today we took the childhood cancer training to Regina Coeli Mission Hospital in Manicaland. Located in the Eastern Highlands, 347 km from Harare, the hospital serves communities across the region.
Our focus was on promoting early detection and prompt referrals. Equipping frontline healthcare professionals with the right knowledge means quicker identification of signs and symptoms, and faster access to care for children.
Thank you, Nyanga and Regina Coeli team, for hosting us!
