Our community outreach programs are at our heart. Here our Project Manager Francis Robson Nyachowe gives us a snippet of these.

Our Cancer Awareness and Screening Outreaches are aimed at increasing access to cancer education and early detection services in underserved communities.

The outreach programs seek to:
• Increase awareness of cancer signs and symptoms.
• Promote the importance of early detection and screening.
• Provide access to cancer screening services.
• Encourage timely referral and treatment where required.

To support our 2026 outreaches in any capacity, contact us here or email [email protected]🌿THANK YOU

🎗️ Help us bring relief and hope to cancer patients in Zimbabwe. Many marginalised cancer patients are suffering in silence due to a lack of access to chemotherapy drugs and pain relief medication.

At Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust - we are appealing for support to help provide life-saving treatment, restore dignity, and ease suffering for those facing cancer. Every contribution, big or small, can make a difference.

💚 Donate chemotherapy drugs or pain relief medication 💚 Make a financial contribution towards medicines 💚 Share this appeal and help us reach more hearts.

Together, we can bring relief, restore hope, and save lives.

💚A prayer answered. A need met.

A few months ago, we appealed for a lockable fridge to safely store medicines and temperature-sensitive supplies used in our patient support and cancer outreach programs.

Today, we are incredibly grateful to share that this need has been met.

We extend our sincere thanks to Zimbabwe Cares Network and to the generous anonymous donor who made this possible. Your kindness will help us provide safer care for cancer patients and strengthen our outreach work for years to come.

Every act of generosity brings hope.

Thank you for standing with the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust in the fight against cancer. 💙🎗️

Help us make a difference💚We are seeking a donation of a 9 cubic foot fridge with a lock to help us safely store medicines and other temperature-sensitive products used in our patient support and outreach programmes.

Having secure and reliable storage will help us better support cancer patients and ensure that donated medicines and supplies are maintained under appropriate conditions.

If you or your organisation can assist, or would like more information, please contact us using the details above OR DM us on this page.

If you are based overseas, you can also support this appeal by contributing towards the purchase of a fridge.

Thank you for helping us bring hope, support and care to those affected by cancer.

We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (ECCT) and the Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ).

This partnership marks an important step towards expanding cancer awareness, education, screening, and support services within Zimbabwe's hospitality sector (hotels, lodges, restaurants, related establishments) - and the communities it serves.

ECCT and HAZ will work together to promote early detection, health education, and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving cancer outcomes and supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the HAZ leadership and team for their commitment to this partnership and their shared vision of creating healthier workplaces and communities across Zimbabwe.

Together, we look forward to making a meaningful impact.

Special thank you to Mrs Kativhu, Mrs Rukande, HAZ Presidium, Secretariat and everyone at HAZ who made this event happen. Also a special thanks to the ECCT Board and everyone else for the support.

A special mention to those who attended from ECCT: Mr Sydney Chabvamuperu, Mrs Choga, Mr Machingauta and Francis Robson Nyachowe
