We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (ECCT) and the Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ).

This partnership marks an important step towards expanding cancer awareness, education, screening, and support services within Zimbabwe's hospitality sector (hotels, lodges, restaurants, related establishments) - and the communities it serves.

ECCT and HAZ will work together to promote early detection, health education, and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving cancer outcomes and supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the HAZ leadership and team for their commitment to this partnership and their shared vision of creating healthier workplaces and communities across Zimbabwe.

Together, we look forward to making a meaningful impact.

Special thank you to Mrs Kativhu, Mrs Rukande, HAZ Presidium, Secretariat and everyone at HAZ who made this event happen. Also a special thanks to the ECCT Board and everyone else for the support.

A special mention to those who attended from ECCT: Mr Sydney Chabvamuperu, Mrs Choga, Mr Machingauta and Francis Robson Nyachowe
