Vacancy notice for: Finance Graduate Intern

A peace building organisation is seeking the services of a highly motivated, detail oriented, and proactive eager to learn Finance Graduate Intern with passion to support its finance team in day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance.

Basic Function
Working under the direct supervision of the Finance officer, the Finance Graduate Intern primary role will be to support the Finance and Administration department with implementation of end-to-end processes in financial operations and Administration processes.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
• Process payment vouchers and instructions upon receipt of adequately supported payable packages.
• Assist in the Preparation of monthly financial reports to Funding Partners in line with organisational policies and contractual agreements.
• Supporting the timely preparation of monthly management accounts to allow with accurate and real time decision making by management.
• Assist with the supply chain management processes including real time procurements, logistics/transport and inventory functions.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time in line with organisational needs and changes.
Qualifications and Experience
• BAcc/BCom/BTech Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• ACCA/CIMA/CTA Finalist is a Distinct added advantage.
• At-least a Year of work-related learning experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Pastel accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
