Waste management is a critical component in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Women in Makokoba and Mzilikazi working with Sisonke Working Together Trust Bulawayo are working around the clock in cleaning their environments. All this is done to curb the climate change effects and bring about sanity in the city. The women identify dumping sites hotspots in tandem with EMA and other stakeholders tgese dumpsites are cleared of debri, which if left uncollected will emit gases such as methane and carbon dioxide which have a negative detrimental effect to our environment. Also supporting the women's efforts is Lobengula Primary School
