🌍🎉 Celebrating 100 Years of Sir David Attenborough 🎉🌿

As Sir marks 100 incredible years, we celebrate a man whose work has inspired the world to appreciate and protect nature. 🌱🐘

We also commend him for showcasing Zambia’s breathtaking wildlife and landscapes through the recent Kingdom documentary, which was filmed here in Zambia. 🇿🇲💚 Through productions like this, the world gets to witness the beauty, biodiversity, and importance of protecting our natural heritage.

For generations, Sir David’s voice has educated, inspired, and challenged us to care for the planet we all share. His work continues to remind us that conservation is not optional — it is essential for our future. 🌍✨

🗑️ Where does your trash go, Lusaka?

From its beginnings as a small village near Manda Hill to becoming the capital of a proud, independent Zambia 🇿🇲, Lusaka has grown rapidly over the years. But with growth comes responsibility.

Today, Lusaka generates over 1 million tons of waste every year — that’s about 2,700 tons every single day. 😳

Most of this waste ends up at Chunga Dumpsite, a 10-acre site north of the city — and the pressure on our waste systems continues to grow.

🌿 The question is: Are we managing our waste, or is it managing us?

Every piece of litter thrown carelessly contributes to a bigger problem — blocked drains, pollution, health risks, and environmental damage.

Bane, the change starts with us.
