Die Raad van die Breedevallei Munisipaliteit het ’n toekenningsbeleid aanvaar met die oog daarop om ’n raamwerk daar te stel om hulptoelae te skenk aan organisasies wat behoeftiges bedien of wat deur die regering gebruik word as agent om behoeftiges te bedien, soos voorsien in Artikel 67 van die Plaaslike Regering: Munisipale FinansiΓ«le Bestuurswet, 2003 (Wet 56 van 2003).

Kwalifiserende organisasies word hiermee genooi om aansoek te doen vir ’n hulptoekenning in ooreenstemming met die voorwaardes soos uiteengesit in die aansoekdokumente.

The Council of the Breede Valley Municipality adopted a grant-in-aid policy with a view to establishing a framework to provide relief grants to organisations serving those in need or used by government as an agent to serve those in need, as provided for in Section 67 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003).

Eligible organisations are hereby invited to apply for an aid award in accordance with the conditions set out in the application documents.

HEARTWARMING MOMENTS ON THE TRACKS β€οΈπŸš‚!

As we counted down to our last day of Outreach at the Phelophepa Healthcare Train's visit to Worcester Station... πŸš‚

We're reflecting on the incredible partnerships that made it all possible πŸ™

On Wednesday, 01 October 2025 - World Day of Older Persons πŸŽ‰, we joined forces with our long-standing partner Masjidul Kareem Worcester πŸ™ and new friend Mrs. Naomi February, founder of Feb Disabled Care πŸ«‚, to serve up a delicious and nourishing treat to the patients πŸ€— Warm cups of hearty vegetable soup 🍲 and freshly baked bread 🍞 - a perfect way to warm the heart and soul ❀️

SPREADING JOY ON THE TRACKS πŸ’“πŸš‚! We're still on a high from our incredible outreach at the Phelophepa Healthcare Train's visit at Worcester Station πŸš‚πŸ’–! On Tuesday, 30 September 2025, The Way Forward was proud to partner with Nedbank πŸ’šπŸ™Œ and the amazing Aunty Pat Steenkamp, Women of ExcellenceπŸ’ƒ Ambassador and Co-founder of Sharing is Caring πŸ€—, to bring some sunshine to the patients' day 🌞

Together, we distributed fresh fruit 🍎, sandwiches πŸ₯ͺ, steaming hot coffee β˜•οΈ, and refreshing juice πŸ₯€ to patients as they waited in line to receive essential healthcare services πŸ’Š The smiles on their faces were all the thanks we needed πŸ™β€οΈ
