Ending 2025 and starting 2026 has been a period to take on the challenge to work with boys and girls from the ages of 6 years to PREVENT GBVF pandemic in oir communities. WLTP discovered that from the ages of 3/4, children are already 'se-ualised'. WLTP has had different workshops and meetings in Hlokozi and Centocow areas with groups as part of the National Strategic Plan on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (2020-20230).

One highlight for WLTP in 2025 was the shift from boys just attending workshops to using their agency in Ageoecology and Water in their areas. We look forward to escalating this initiative in 2026.

This Heritage Month/ Day, WLTP deepened their Child Meaningful Partipation processes on Indigenous Food Systems. Since August, they have been mapping the 2 Agroecology Hubs in Hlokozi and Centocow. This is intergenerational work, but I must admit, ideas from this age groups are the best.

After a long journey with Girls and Agroecology, girls from Centocow and Hlokozi celebrated Women's Month by Reimagining an Agroecology Hub in their area. Something conctrete is being born by girls and their communities.

In July WLTP engaged with Teenage Boys from Centocow and Hlokozi areas about Sexuality and Sexual Reproductive Health. During these sessions, shocking information of what happens eMandlwaneni, Pre schools and Primary schools. On top of that, Boys are not taught on how to use social media platforms constructively. Boys engaged with the Traditional Leadership Structures pleading for similar care that girl receive. "We can see what steps you are taking to care for the girls. What about us?" This left a huge task on our work with the Traditional Leaders, to rethink of a Healthy Boy Child
