A heartfelt thank you to Acutt’s Real Estate for taking the time to visit and spoil our residents.

They brought along delicious cupcakes for everyone to decorate, plenty of sweet treats, fun ball games, and even nail painting. It was such a lovely and uplifting visit, and our residents truly enjoyed the laughter, attention, and joyful distraction.

We are so grateful for your kindness and for brightening everyone’s day.

Thank you to all of those folks and businesses who bought raffle tickets or made a donation towards Charlotte's 18for18 run on Saturday.

It was an epic event with a few tears at the end (not from the runners, but from the family and friends who watched these young ladies run into Pevensey Place!)

More monies are still coming in this week, and we have just received another R10,000.00 courtesy of Strawberries & Cream!!

If anyone would still like to donate, please let me know so that we can round off the total figure to R80,000.00. Charlotte is over the moon that we have far exceeded her goal of R18,000.00 🥳

Sadly, Underberger's, Shaun Mockford (from Polokwane) won the raffle. It was nice to see people from outside of our little village also getting involved.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, on International Day Against Elder Abuse, Pevensey Place had the privilege of sharing a truly special day with the children from Clouds of Hope.

Their visit brought so much joy, laughter, and warmth to our residents and staff. It was wonderful to see everyone spending time together, playing games, enjoying soccer in the sunshine, sharing stories, and treating themselves to ice cream, cake, refreshments, and a delicious lunch.

Days like this remind us how meaningful simple moments of kindness, connection, and togetherness can be. The smiles, friendships, and memories created throughout the day were truly priceless.

A heartfelt thank you to the children from Clouds of Hope, our volunteers, staff, and everyone who contributed to making this day so memorable and filled with happiness.

Together, we celebrated the value, dignity, and joy that every person deserves.

Hi everyone! 😊

A huge heartfelt thank you from all of us at Pevensey Place for the absolutely wonderful outing at Piggly Wiggly Country Village on Friday 🙏

Our residents had such an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every moment — from the train ride, mini golf, and ceramic painting, to the lovely lunch shared together. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day meant so much, and they are still talking about the experience today 😊

We would especially like to thank the incredible Piggly Wiggly team for your kindness, patience, and warm hospitality. Your effort and care truly made the day feel special and memorable for everyone who attended.

We are so grateful for the wonderful memories created, and we sincerely hope we’ll be able to visit again next year! ❤️

Our Pevensey Crafters have been knitting and crocheting like mad for this great initiative. Rumour is their hands will need a spa day to recover .
Our crafters Wil also be at this lovely day at Piggly Wiggly - Midlands on Saturday 2 May 2026 to hand over their blankets... And a well deserved rest. Please visit us there!

Headline: Our Secret Ingredient is Out! 🤫🥘
​We’ve always known the folks at Sani Round Table 152 are stars, but now it’s official! The SANI Round Table has nominated their involvement and projects with us for Project of the Year and Table of the Year, because why not go for the gold? 🏆
​To sweeten the deal, our residents put pen to paper and signed a Pevensey Recipe Book to send over to Vos Botha, Round Table South Africa President, with the proposal. We figured a little "home-grown flavor" would make the nomination impossible to resist! It clearly worked, because Vos was so chuffed he sent us this lovely video shout-out to say thanks.

​300+ Volunteer Hours (and probably just as many "coffee" 😉 breaks).
​R300,000 invested into making Pevensey even more awesome.
​The big bosses at ARTSA will announce the winners at the end of the month. We’re not saying we’ve already cleared a spot on the mantelpiece... but we’re definitely keeping our fingers, toes, and kitchen utensils crossed for Sani 152! 🍴🤞
