The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's Public Health, Waste Management and Environmental Health Directorate, in collaboration with the South African Red Cross Society Uitenhage Branch and stakeholders within KwaNobuhle, will embark on an Environmental Education and Awareness.

Community members are invited to attend the public meetings, where environmental challenges, waste management solutions, and community participation in keeping KwaNobuhle clean will be discussed.

Today, 5 dedicated volunteers participated in our Garden Project, which aims to grow fresh vegetables and produce to support our Soup Kitchen Programme.

The team carried out garden cleaning and maintenance, soil preparation, planting of vegetables, and watering of crops. Their hard work and commitment help ensure that fresh ingredients are available for nutritious meals served to vulnerable community members.

This initiative continues to play an important role in promoting food security and supporting those in need within our community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers for their dedication and teamwork. Together, we are making a difference, one garden at a time. 🌱🤝❤️
