At the Father’s Heart Foundation’s family day, many families were brought together to learn more about each other, to further grow in knowledge of Biblical families, and to experience true fellowship. Lots of laughs and interesting stories were shared, as well as some sweat treats, snacks and drinks handed out near the end. It was a great success, as every parent and child left with something they could take into their own homes, and eventually use to create a positive environment therein.

Community Clean-Up 🚮 🎉

On the 21st March, our volunteers with the help of children and members from Blikkiesdorp, cleaned the surrounding area. Bags and bags of litter were filled and collected.

Our hope is to see this act of service, lead to future cleaner and brighter communities 🙌

Parents information session | 31 January

We invited the parents of the children who are apart of our programmes this year to a information session about what we do, the impact made and the programmes we have available for the parents too.

There were more than 15 families represented who signed up for our new Family Programme, which we are launching this year.

This Family Programme entails walking a journey with each family, to help grow and restore their family, depending on their needs and family dynamics.

We thank Mr Zealand from St Josephs who welcomed us and presented us to the parents. It was awesome to hear from one of our Dignity Girls, Fredolene who shared about her experience, two learners from our Read & Rise programme showcased their reading skills to the parents, a mother, Anneline from our woman's ministry share a testimony and a teacher from St joshephs who has noticed the impact made from The Father’s Heart Foundation.

AGM '26

Our Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday, 17th January.

It was refreshing to hear and see all the impact and restoration that had taken place in our pillars throughout 2025!

We thank all our volunteers, leaders, board members, guests and sponsors who joined this meeting.

We are also grateful to Pastor Jason Jacobus, our guest speaker and former volunteer who encouraged, inspired and challenged us to enter 2026 knowing God is on our side and restoration is in our midst!

We are ready to step into 2026 with great expectancy and trust in Jesus 🙌

We hope on this day that you are reminded of God's unconditional love for humanity: to send His Son to Earth to save and reconcile all that was broken. Jesus is our greatest gift - may we rejoice and find our rest in Him.

Last week we ended the year off with 'A Mindfulness Experience'. We hiked, we painted and we had so much fun together.

It was a peaceful and relaxing time together. We are so grateful for what God has done this year 🥹 and we are already excited for what is to come for 2026!!
