Delta 1 Rescue Diving operates in strategic partnership with Stratcon Tactical Medical Support Unit.

Both organisations remain independent, but when the call comes, our capabilities converge.

By combining specialised rescue diving, recovery, tactical medical support and emergency response capabilities, we create a coordinated operational capability designed to perform under pressure — where conditions are unpredictable, time is critical, and failure is not an option.

Two independent organisations. One operational objective: save lives, support those on the ground, and bring closure when the mission demands it.

WHEN THE CALL COMES — WE DEPLOY.

From water rescue and recovery to high-risk scenes, medical emergencies and critical incidents, our teams are prepared to mobilise, integrate and operate alongside other emergency services and response agencies.

No hesitation. No unnecessary delay. No compromise on the mission.

TRAIN HARD. RESPOND FAST. OPERATE AS ONE.

When seconds matter, capability matters.
When the situation escalates, we are ready to move.

🌑 INTO THE BLACK.

NO LIGHT.
NO VISIBILITY.
NO ROOM FOR ERROR.

When the sun goes down, the mission doesn’t stop.

For Delta 1 Rescue Diving, darkness is not an excuse to stand back.

We enter water where visibility can be measured in centimetres.

We don't know what is waiting beneath the surface.

We don't rely on what we can see.

WE RELY ON TRAINING.
WE RELY ON PROCEDURE.
WE RELY ON EACH OTHER.

Every signal matters.

Every movement matters.

Every breath matters.

In dark water, complacency can cost you everything.

This is where discipline takes over.

You control your breathing.
You control your movements.
You maintain your awareness.
You trust your equipment.
You trust your team.

AND YOU COMPLETE THE MISSION.

There is an adrenaline that comes with entering black water at night — but adrenaline doesn't bring you home.

TRAINING DOES.
DISCIPLINE DOES.
TEAMWORK DOES.

We don't dive because it's easy.

WE DIVE BECAUSE SOMEONE HAVE TO BRING CLOSURE TO FAMILIES

🚨 **THE SEARCH IS HAPPENING SO WHY ISN’T ANYONE FINDING ANYTHING?** 🚨

This is one of the hardest questions for a family to understand when their loved one is missing in the water.

**“If they know where they went into the water, why can’t they find them?”**

The answer is that underwater searches are often much more complicated than they look from the surface.

🌊 **CURRENT & TIME**
Moving water can carry a person away from the original entry point. The longer the time, the more complicated the search can become.

⬇️ **DEPTH**
A calm-looking body of water can have sudden drop-offs, deep holes, channels, or other underwater changes.

👁️ **VISIBILITY**
Murky water, silt, darkness, and algae can reduce visibility to almost nothing. Sometimes a diver can be only a few feet away and still not see what they are looking for.

🌿 **VEGETATION & DEBRIS**
Logs, branches, weeds, rocks, and other underwater debris can hide a person or make access extremely difficult.

💧 **CHANGING WATER CONDITIONS**
Rain, dams, releases, and changing water levels can alter currents and search conditions.

🪨 **BOTTOM CONDITIONS**
Mud, rocks, silt, drop-offs, and uneven terrain can make underwater searches extremely challenging.

And this is something every family should remember:

**A difficult search does NOT mean nobody is looking.**

Professional search and recovery teams may be working with divers, sonar, ROVs, boats, K9 teams, drones, and other resources—but every tool has limitations.

We know the waiting is unbearable. We know families want answers.

❤️ **Trust the trained teams working the search. Stay connected with law enforcement and the incident command team, and be careful about information coming from social media.**

**Keep the faith. Keep asking questions. And most importantly, keep your loved one’s dignity at the center of the search.**
