150th Convention 2025 - 2026 Theosophical Society

Held under the theme “One World, One Life: The Spirit of a New Humanity,” the Convention felt less like an anniversary looking backward and more like a collective pause—an invitation to listen deeply to what the present moment and the future may be asking of humanity.
About 30 countries were represented, with 752 members present in person and more than 1,000 participants joining online, forming a circle of reflection that extended across continents and cultures.

Madame Hélèna Petrovna Blavatsky
Born: 12 August [O.S. 31 July] 1831 ~ Died: 8 May 1891 (aged 59)

Co-founder of the Theosophical Society (1875), author of Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine — one of the most influential and most disputed occult figures of the modern age. Revered by followers as a channel of hidden wisdom, dismissed by critics as a masterful fraud, she remains a defining figure of Western esotericism a century and a half later.

At the temple of Isis was written: “No mortal has ever lifted my veil.” Every mystery school in history was organized around that single challenge.

The veil is not a myth. It is the world of appearances itself, the surface of things concealing the deeper reality beneath. The mystery schools were not academies. They were transformation systems designed to produce a different kind of person, one whose perception had been developed far enough to see what was always already there.

Isis never hid her face. We simply had not yet become capable of looking at it.
