WE JUST LOVE DONATING

Pixie handed 10 care bags over to Captain Bestbier from Mossel Bay FCS for the little victims of serious crimes.

She also invited the unit to, whenever they have a need for more bags or baby related items, contact her to assist.

The donation was made possible by KidsCare who always supports us with the beautiful bags.

Sometimes life is just hard...

A single mom recently reached out to us with one simple request: a pair of closed shoes for two of her three children. They had been wearing slops in this freezing weather, and her youngest also needed nappies and milk.

She is raising three children on her own, juggling small part-time jobs while fighting through the courts to secure maintenance from their dad. She never complained—she simply asked for help for her children.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we were able to provide each child with two pairs of shoes and socks, as well as nappies, milk, Zinplex vitamins, colouring books, crayons, gloves, beanies, and a few treats like chips, juice and sweets.

Mom didn't ask for a single thing for herself. Just like so many mothers, she put her children first.

So we packed a special KidsCare Dignity Bag with a few essentials and some treats, simply to remind her that she matters too.

To every person who supports KidsCare—thank you. Because of you, we're able to bring hope, dignity and a little joy to families when they need it most. 💚🩷🧡

Our KidsCare Trauma Bags in action. Moments like these remind us why this project is so important. We hope the little Trauma Bag brought a small measure of comfort and distraction to this brave little one during such a frightening experience. A huge thank you to Pretoria Volunteer Emergency Services, EST - Emergency Support Team and all the emergency services on scene for the incredible care and compassion you showed. We wish Mom a full and speedy recovery

A heartfelt thank you to every individual, school, business, and community member who supported our Winter Build A Bag Project. Together, we were able to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children this winter.

Total Bags Built: 79

💛 2 Baby Bags
💚 71 Kids Bags
💙 6 Teen Bags
🩷 0 Dignity Bags

In addition, we collected:

🧡29 beanies and scarves
💙20 blankets

The above was distributed to:

🩷 Pixie Pink - Victims' Advocate – 30 bags, 20 blankets, and all 29 beanies and scarves
💚Unchain Our Children – 48 bags
🩷 Little M – 1 bag in addition to all the items donated by the public

Every bag represents comfort, hope, and love for a child facing difficult circumstances. Thank you for helping us keep children warm and reminding them that they are not alone.

A heartfelt thank you to Heart of Stella Foundation for their incredibly generous donation of 50 bottles of Zinplex Junior Multivite Gummies!

Zinc plays an important role in children's growth, supports a healthy immune system, aids healing, and contributes to normal brain development. For many children entering care, good nutrition has been a challenge, making these vitamins an incredibly meaningful addition to our KidsCare bags.
