🎟️ Tickets are now available for the inaugural South African Tree Symposium - set to bring together South Africa's tree and conservation community on 8–9 September 2026 at the Old Mutual Conference Centre, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
Hosted by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) and the Botanical Society of South Africa (BOT SOC), the symposium will feature two days of inspiring talks, knowledge sharing and networking centred on South Africa's remarkable trees.
This exciting symposium will bring together people from across South Africa's tree and conservation community to share knowledge, exchange ideas and explore the vital role that trees play in our landscapes, biodiversity and everyday lives.
From researchers and arborists to horticulturists, decision makers, conservation practitioners, students and tree enthusiasts, the symposium will provide an opportunity to learn from leading voices, discover new perspectives and build meaningful connections.
