Dreams don't have deadlines. Tax season is over, but the school year is moving forward every day. Students need consistent support for things like uniforms, transport, and stationery throughout the entire year.

When you set up a monthly contribution of R125, you help cover these essential costs. This regular support means a learner can focus on their lessons and stay in the classroom from one term to the next.

You can join the family of supporters by starting a recurring donation at the link in our bio. Every monthly contribution helps a student show up and learn.

What is the true value of R125?

For many of us, R125 is the cost of a few cups of coffee or a quick lunch. But at the African Scholars Fund, that same R125—when committed monthly—is enough to provide a high school learner with a bursary for an entire year.

We focus on promising learners in rural and township schools who have the talent but lack the financial resources for basic school needs. Your monthly support ensures they have:

* Uniforms and school supplies to attend class with dignity.

* School contributions to keep their education on track.

* Mentorship and development workshops to guide them toward university or TVET colleges.

With over 50 years of history, we know that education is the ultimate tool for generational change. Be the reason a student stays in school this year.

Did you know that for just R125 a month, you can provide a scholar with a path out of poverty through education?

Education is the foundation for success, but hidden costs like uniforms, supply contributions, and term fees often stand in the way. Sponsoring a term for R375 (or just R125/month) changes everything.

Here is the breakdown of what your sponsorship provides:

✅ The supplies they need to learn.
✅ The fees needed to keep them in class.
✅ The mentorship and academic guidance needed to progress.

That small contribution provides 10 weeks of security, allowing them to focus on what matters most: learning.

Message from the Director: "Thank you for partnering with us."

Dear Partners,

Our corporate supporters are the lifeblood of our work. Your resources and networks allow us to continue our mission effectively while building a positive public image for your brand.

Because of your commitment in 2025, we provided financial aid to over 2,000 learners, alongside career workbooks, academic excellence awards, and data vouchers. Together, we are bridging gaps in education and helping young scholars break the cycle of poverty. Thank you for your vital support.

Together we build, we transform, we empower!
