Huge thank you to Veronica and family for opening their hearts and their home and fostering Molly for us. Our hearts are breaking with you but we are forever grateful that she got to have a bit of home life with you for a while 💔🌈🐾. Run free sweet girl

RIP Molly. Run free till we meet again. On the 26th September last year we want to FA to find our foster child. And after looking and meeting various furbabies we were confused and about to leave when Obert said there is one more we need to see and he brought Molly and she jumped in the car. Decision made and home we went. Best choice ever Obert thank you. Molly crept into our hearts and became a social butterfly. Everyone she met loved her. Thank you FA and God for giving Molly to us for 54 weeks. Unfortunately she moved across Rainbow 🌈 on Saturday 10 October. We loved you Molly and your snoring soothed me into sleep. We will never forget you ever - and Bella is also pining for you. Such a social butterfly you were. I promised you while on that dreaded table that we will meet again as we said goodbye. Love you my little precious tiny little angel. I would like to thank the staff of Fallen Angels, Westbeach Animal hospital especially Dr Jimmy who in June, while Molly was sick, said while there is life there is hope. We had a further 3 months with you Molly. No more pain princess. Run free.

🤍 50 RAND WEDNESDAY | BARNABY’S STORY 🐾

Oh, Barnaby. 💔 If only we knew what your tired, old body had been through.

Found dumped along a quiet farm road near Hopefield, this sweet old boy was weak, struggling to breathe, desperately hungry and covered in ticks and fleas. At the vet, we discovered multiple old fractures and extensive injuries. His little body had endured too much, and the kindest thing we could do was let him go peacefully.

We’ll never know how long he suffered before he was left behind. 💔

But for a little while, Barnaby, you were safe. You had a full tummy, a warm place to rest, gentle hands to care for you and people who loved you. We couldn’t give you the happy ending you deserved, but we could give you kindness, comfort and a peaceful goodbye. 🤍

This is the heartbreaking reality of rescue. Sometimes, we cannot save a life, but even when an animal cannot be saved, the veterinary bills remain.

This , please help us cover Barnaby’s vet costs so we can continue showing up for the animals who need us.

Run free, sweet boy. No more pain, no more hunger. Just peace. 🌈

You mattered, Barnaby. You always deserved love, and we hope you felt some of it before you said goodbye. 🤍🐾

🤎 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM TO YOU 🤎

Recently, we reached out to our community with an urgent plea for help. We know that we ask a lot, and we never take your generosity or support for granted.

Today, we simply want to pause and say THANK YOU 🥹🤎

Thank you to every single person who made a donation, contributed to our BackaBuddy fund, or completed and returned a debit order form.

Thank you to those who have set up recurring donations, and to everyone who continues to support us, month after month.

Every contribution matters. Every rand helps. And every person who chooses to stand with us helps us continue caring for the animals who depend on Fallen Angels.

We simply couldn’t do this without you.

We know that times are tough, and we understand that not everyone is in a position to give. Please know that we appreciate every contribution, no matter the size, and we’re incredibly grateful to have a community that cares.

While we’re so thankful for the response to our recent plea, we still have a long way to go before we reach our monthly funding needs.

🤎 Our monthly goal: R523,000

If you’d like to continue supporting our work, there are a few easy ways to help:
