The last brinjals of the season 🍆 are coming out of the garden at Inundo Farm! Andile is harvesting a beautiful final crop, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Even with replanting, brinjal never disappoints! 🌱 What a joy to see the fruit of months of planting, nurturing and patiently waiting.

There’s something special about a garden when you plant, care for the soil 🪏, keep showing up, and eventually the harvest comes. We’re giving thanks for this season and looking forward to what comes next. God has been faithful! 🌅

There’s something so inspiring about seeing young people taking an interest in farming and wanting to grow their own food! 💚

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely young lady, Naledi from Umlazi, to Inundo Farm. She has already started her own little garden at home, planting a variety of vegetables. Unfortunately, most of her crops didn’t grow as she had hoped, and her only harvest so far has been green peppers. 🫑

But instead of giving up, Naledi decided to learn! 🙌🏽 Her desire is to understand and practise the Farming God’s Way method so she can improve her garden and grow healthy, thriving vegetables.

During her tour of the farm, she was amazed to see just how much is growing so beautifully. 🌿🥬🥕 Seeing her excitement and curiosity reminded us that every farmer starts somewhere ,sometimes with one small garden, one seed, and a willingness to learn.

And of course, Naledi didn’t want to miss out! 😄 She was already asking about our upcoming training because she is ready to learn more.

We love seeing this hunger in our youth. The future of farming is in their hands, and we are excited to walk alongside them! 🌱❤️

Keep growing, Naledi! Your farming journey has only just begun. 🙏🏽

Today we’re not only celebrating Sduduzile’s birthday, but we’re also taking a moment to honour two very special friends, Eleanor and Isaac. What a beautiful gift it is to celebrate life, friendship, and the people God places along our journey. 🙏🏽✨

Sduduzile, your hard work, your heart, your passion and the light you bring to our team are truly amazing. May this new year of your life be filled with joy, gratitude, grace and abundant blessings. May God continue to strengthen you and guide you as you carry the vision He has placed in your heart. ❤️

Eleanor and Isaac, thank you for the dedication, love and support you have poured into this place. In just these past four months, you have become more than friends,you have become family. 🥹❤️ Thank you for every contribution, every helping hand, every moment shared and for simply being part of the Inundo journey.

Sduduzile had a meaningful day visiting Pastor Delwa and his team in KwaMaphumulo, walking the land, hearing their vision, and witnessing how God is working.

The team is already farming both crops and livestock, and they are longing to create a space where the community, especially young people, can learn, grow food, and build a sustainable future through Farming God’s Way.

With crops already planted, the next focus is improving layout and spacing, learning to use God’s blanket, and moving away from mono cropping. Sduduzile also shared simple principles on field design, and the team requested help to develop their second field into a training space for the wider community.

Some next steps are to clear the field, set the pegs, and prepare for maize training. Two women will also step into leadership to help carry the vision forward.

A beautiful reminder from Sduduzile: “It was so great seeing Pastor Delwa’s heart and commitment to serve his community.”

PLANTING DAY! 🌱🥔

How can we not plant today after having such lovely weather? The rain has come, the soil is ready, and we said, “Today is the day!” 🙌🏽

Andile got busy preparing the furrows and adding our favourite inputs, wood ash and compost, into each one. He then carefully planted the potato seed with 30cm spacing between each one before gently covering them back up with soil.

Now we wait, trusting that with the rain, good soil, and a little patience, these potatoes will grow quickly and give us a beautiful harvest. 🥔🌧️🌱

There is something so special about planting a seed and believing in what you cannot yet see. That’s farming! ❤️

Growing food is important, but growing people is even more rewarding. 🌱

We were truly grateful to welcome Pastor Robert from CAST Organisation, who introduced us to two inspiring leaders, Pastor Mhlanga and Pastor Delwa.

Pastor Mhlanga from Savanna Park shared his vision of seeing every servant own a Garden of Faithfulness, with the church also establishing its own garden as a place of learning, growth, and provision. We are excited about the opportunity for Sduduzile to visit and share a presentation on this journey.

Pastor Delwa from KwaMaphumulo, founder of Faith Based Community Development, has a heart for serving communities through agriculture. As a conventional farmer, he is eager to transition to Farming God’s Way and dreams of transforming his large property into a training centre. Sduduzile encouraged him that accreditation would be an important step in establishing a training centre and suggested visiting the site first to better understand how we can support the vision.

Pastor Delwa also shared his desire to begin this journey with three people from his organisation, with the hope that they will one day become trainers themselves. His excitement was contagious, and by the end of the visit he was already asking if Sduduzile could come the very next day!

We thank God for connecting us with people who are passionate about transforming communities. May these new relationships continue to bear fruit, bringing hope, knowledge, and lasting impact to many lives.

The Garden of Faithfulness support visits are still continuing, and this time Sduduzile visited Mam Fikile Mnyeni and Njabulo Cele the Klaarwater group Leaders to see how their garden is progressing, offer encouragement, and support them as they continue learning vegetable rotation.

It was a joy to see their commitment. Their garden is thriving, and they have even planted sweet potatoes in sacks, proving that a lack of space should never stop anyone from growing food. Their passion has also reached beyond their own garden, as they taught their neighbour, Mam Ngubane, how to plant using the Farming God’s Way method.

In every journey, there are challenges. Birds and large locusts have been enjoying some of the leafy vegetables, and Njabulo’s love for farming means he wants to plant everything, making garden layout a learning process. Yet despite these obstacles, their garden reflects care, excellence, and faithfulness.

We celebrate every step forward and look forward to seeing this garden continue to flourish. 🌿💚

Recently we prepared a big order for Impala Ridge, harvesting fresh brinjal, spinach, avocados, and our beautiful beetroot. Seeing the abundance that has come from the garden and months of faithful planting fills our hearts with gratitude. God is good!

Our beetroot has been a highlight this season. We have been blessed with an incredible harvest of large, healthy beetroot, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Every harvest reminds us that faithfulness, teamwork, and God’s provision always produce fruit in His perfect timing. We are forever grateful for every opportunity to serve our community with fresh, quality produce.

What a privilege it was to welcome the amazing team from iThemba Project to our farm. 💚

Their passion for transforming the lives of children and teenagers through education and mentoring is truly inspiring. As they partner with the people of Sweetwaters, it was an honour to share some of the principles that guide our farming journey.

The day began with a tour of the farm where Mpendulo shared the importance of compost and how it is made. In the garden, Andile explained the value of crop rotation in building healthy, productive soil. Sduduzile then demonstrated the difference between Farming God’s Way and conventional farming through the soil runoff demonstration. It was powerful to see everyone’s reaction as they witnessed how much precious soil and nutrients are lost when the ground is left uncovered instead of protected with mulch.

We ended the visit with a warm, home cooked lunch lovingly prepared by Nosisi and Mhle. To top it all off, our guests surprised us with thoughtful gifts that truly touched our hearts. 🥹
