🐾 TLB'S JOURNEY 🐾
When TLB first came to us, her injuries were devastating. She had been knocked and left with a broken leg with very little flesh left covering the bone. The damage was so extensive that amputation was her only chance at a pain-free life.
Since then, she has faced challenge after challenge. Her stump became infected and had to be surgically reopened, and she was also treated for an underlying tick-borne disease. Through it all, TLB never gave up.
Today, she is thriving.
She is happy, strong, resilient, and full of energy and s***k. Watching her bounce around on three legs, enjoying life despite everything she has endured, is nothing short of incredible. ❤️
TLB's surgery alone cost R14 874.50, and our outstanding account with Silverglen Veterinary Clinic now stands at R29 493.00.
While we celebrate TLB's recovery, the reality is that veterinary care comes at a significant cost. We never want finances to determine whether an animal receives the lifesaving treatment they need, but we urgently need help settling our veterinary bills so that we can continue helping the next animal who arrives at our gates needing urgent care.
TLB is currently staying with us while her stitches continue to heal. Once she has had her final check-up, we hope to have her spayed before she returns home to her family who have been patiently waiting for her. We want to ensure she goes back healthy, healed, and ready to enjoy the life she deserves.
