Recently Bright Hope Pregnancy Care Centre facilitated Equipped to Serve training in Cape Town ❤

So proud of this wonderful Equipped to Serve group! ❤️

Over the past month these trainees have been learning practical tools and gaining confidence to better walk alongside those facing crisis. We’re especially excited that 3 trainees are now stepping forward to get involved with Bright Hope!

And yes — spot the Equipped to Serve Cheat Sheets in the photo 👀
These were given alongside certificates as a simple, practical tool to help trainees revise and carry key material with them — easy to slip into a handbag for quick encouragement and support on the go.

Grateful for all God has done through this training journey ✨

But you were never meant to face this alone.

You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.
The right support can bring clarity, strength, and hope for what’s ahead.

If you need someone to talk to, we’re here—no pressure, no judgment, just care.

Huge congratulations to our very own affiliate, Sharon Rushton! We’re so proud to see her recognised nationally for 25 years of dedicated service at Life Link Pregnancy Crisis Centre.

The director of Life Link Pregnancy Crisis Centre in Kempton Park has been recognised on a national stage after being named a finalist at the Woman of Stature Awards 2026.

“I am humbled to have placed in the top three. To be acknowledged for work done over the last 25 years is a great honour. It has been both challenging and rewarding, but I strive to be a voice to the voiceless, the unwanted, the abandoned and the pre-born,” said Rushton.

Recently, Pregnancy Help Network facilitated an Equipped to Serve training in Springs. The group comprised of current and new Hope iThemba volunteers and folk from Turning Point Ministries who showed interest in joining Hope iThemba or helping others in crisis. It was a great week of ministry and learning together.

Sometimes we wonder if the small, faithful steps truly make a difference. Today was a beautiful reminder that they do. 🦋✨

We are incredibly grateful to have received recognition from the Pregnancy Help Network as the 1st Quarter Statistics Submission Winner. 🏆💕

A very special shoutout to our secretary, Engela, this achievement is a reflection of her hard work and commitment behind the scenes. We are so grateful for all she does for Moment by Moment Motherhood. 🤍

Life First PHC was privileged to join the University of Johannesburg’s Community Outreach and Engagement Exhibition Day, connecting with inspiring NGOs and students. At our stand, we surveyed students on the value of a satellite centre on campus—an initiative that could empower peers facing unplanned pregnancies, engage young men in responsibility, and challenge the harmful belief that s*x is “free and fun.” Together, we envision a student-led movement that promotes dignity, wise choices, and healthier futures.

Mother’s Day isn’t just for one kind of mom.

Today we honour the birth moms, the foster moms, the stepmoms, the grandmas stepping up, the moms-to-be waiting with hope, moms who are grieving a loss and the women who mother in ways the world doesn’t always see.

If today is joyful for you, we celebrate with you.
If today is heavy for you, we see you too.

You are valued. You are not alone. 💛
