Just Care Hermanus We are an aftercare facility in Mount Pleasant providing a safe, supportive environment for children.

We assist with homework, life skills, development, counselling and daily meals. Our dedicated staff are committed to helping every child grow & succeed. We have done a great deal of research in the Overstrand Area and it has become very apparent to us that an after school care is in desperate need of assistance. In collaboration with the department of education who has given us permission to use t

he local school's classrooms and Overstrand Municipality, who will be supporting us, we opened our first After care on the 04 May 2015 at Mount Pleasant school. We are providing assistance with homework, sports activities and a light meal

Yesterday, we celebrated Just Care’s 11th birthday in the most joyful way 💛

The children were treated to delicious cupcakes and special goodies, filling the day with excitement and big smiles all around. Each class also performed their own concert — and what a beautiful showcase of talent, confidence, and creativity it was!

Moments like these remind us that Just Care is more than just a place of support — it’s a space where children can grow, express themselves, and simply enjoy being children.

A wonderful start to the year at Just Care! 💚

This term was filled with fun outings, generous donations, and the support of new volunteers who made a real difference in our children’s lives. We’re also so grateful for the new additions to our building, helping us create an even better space for our kids.

Friday was our Annual Fundraising Golf Day! ⛳️ What a truly memorable day—filled with sunshine, laughter, lively wet hole fun, and some fantastic prizes along the way.

A sincere thank you to Hermanus Golf Club and their staff for hosting us on such a beautiful course, and to Two Chefs for preparing a wonderful dinner to end off the day.

Donderdagmiddag het ons ‘n besoek ontvang van ‘n baie spesiale gas - Poffertjie die Paashaas! Hy het sakke vol paaseiers gebring en dit was ‘n lekker soettand kuier! ‘n Paar van ons kleiner kinders was nie so seker of die groot haas vriendelik was nie, maar dit was in ‘n ommesientjie ‘n lekker groot saamkuier en smul aan die paaseiers. Dankie Poffertjie, jou 2027 besoek is reeds op ons almanak aangeteken.
