Douglas vir Diere Our aim is to assist with the sterilisation of animals in Douglas and it's informal settlements.

Our main focus is sterilisation of pets, since that prevents so much future suffering! No more unwanted litters and litters of pups and kittens, born into a life of suffering. It also prevents lots of cancers and other illnesses, as well as fights and getting injured from always roaming in the streets. When an animal in bad condition is rescued, we will treat it and find a good home for it. Every

When you take 12 cats from Douglas to Kimberley for sterilisation...🤪😻

Thank you so much to Dr Luana Venter from Belgravia Vet Clinic for sterilising 13 kitties for us so far this month! They were all vaccinated against rabies as well. It is a mission to do the 220km round trip with so many cats in the car but to know the breeding, fighting and disease spreading cycle stops for them all are just wonderful!🥳

These cats are from colonies in Breipaal township, our local Municipality and the wine cellar that closed down. We actually do not have the funds to cover all this but we can't just let them keep on breeding and suffering. So if anyone would like to make a small (or big😉) donation to help us, it would be very much appreciated. 🤗

A lot of ginger kitties crossed our path the last few months. Usually we really struggle to get these awesome Garfields rehomed, despite the fact that they always have larger than life personalities.
Thank goodness all our Ginga Ninjas were adopted!
