Friday, 17 July 2026 we celebrated Mandela Day by sharing kindness, hope, and compassion with members of our community.

Each community member received a warm meal, a thoughtful gift in the form of a blanket or clothing item, a packet of maize meal or a soup pack (Jar of Hope), and a delicious treat generously donated by our local creamery. 910 members from our community were served.

Mandela Day reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Thank you to Darling Presbyterian Church, YCC, Darling Creamery, Foodforward, Marius van Wyk and Thea Olivier who donated, thank you to those who volunteered, and helped make Mandela day so special. Your generosity and willingness to serve have brought comfort and smiles to many.

YOUTH MONTH 2026

Kicking off Youth Month with a valuable learning opportunity, 20 Yeboneers participated in a Basic Computer Training course from 1–5 June, conducted by the Mobile WCG eCentre. The training equipped participants with essential digital skills and helped expand their digital journey.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the facilitators of the Mobile WCG eCentre for reaching out to our youth and empowering them with practical computer knowledge. Your dedication and support are helping to create new opportunities and a brighter digital future for our community.
Thank you for making a meaningful impact in the lives of our youth.
