In response to the recent disaster and difficult weather conditions affecting many families in our communities, Chev’s Kitchen will be serving a warm meal to those in need tomorrow at our Community Kitchen.

📍 79 Eland Street, Kewtown
🕒 All are welcome

No one should have to go hungry during this time. Whether you need a warm meal, know someone who does, or would like to assist in any way — our doors and hearts are open.

Here’s how you can support our soup kitchen through volunteering or donations.
Serving days run 10:00–15:30, and our high-impact months are March–July (winter) when demand increases.
Every contribution helps feed a family with dignity. 🙏

A day of pure magic
Thanks to your contributions, we turned the Athlone Civic Centre into a Christmas Party where laughter trumped the
day. The kids feasted on hot‑dogs, juice, and ice‑cream, left with party bags bursting with treats, and went home
clutching gifts that lit up their eyes. It was more than a party—it was a reminder that kindness still ripples through our
communities.

Whether you donated funds, food, or hours of your time, your belief in our mission fuels everything we do. You didn’t
just feed bodies – you nourished dreams. Every rand, every plate, every smile helped us show vulnerable kids that they
