Puppy Rescue and Rehoming
Adoption, Fostering, Rehabilitation and rehoming of puppies and dogs

Paw Prints Rescue & Rehoming is a registered NPC and PBO based in Botha’s Hill, KZN. We are a pro-life rescue centre dedicated to providing a safe haven for dogs and puppies that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these animals, ensuring they receive the highest level of care, including immediate veterinary attention, sterilization, and unconditional compassion and love. At any given time, we care for an average of 150 dogs, each on their own journey toward healing and trust. Our commitment extends beyond rescue—we work tirelessly to match adoptable dogs with responsible, loving families who will cherish them for life. Through education and advocacy, we promote responsible pet ownership, microchipping, and sterilization, helping to combat overpopulation, prevent unnecessary euthanasia, and create a future where no dog suffers from neglect or cruelty. Our rescue operates solely through the generosity of our supporters, donors, and volunteers. To sustain our efforts, we host and participate in various fundraising events, ensuring we can meet the financial needs of the rescue. These funds go directly toward veterinary care, sterilizations, food, medication, and maintaining a dedicated team to care for our dogs. At Paw Prints, our team is the heart of our mission. We foster a supportive and professional environment by providing education, training, and compliance measures to enhance our impact while minimizing risks to both the organization and individuals. By teaching future generations about animal welfare, we strive to create a kinder, more compassionate world—one where every dog knows love, security, and respect. Together with our community, we work to protect, rescue, and rehome, striving for a future where no dog is left behind.

EVEREST💛

Born on 26 January 2025, Everest is a beautiful medium-sized mixed breed with a clever mind and a heart full of love. 💞
She’s fantastic with children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has a gentle, friendly nature that makes her an easy and joyful addition to any family!
Everest was sadly returned on 21 February 2026 and is back in our care.😥
She absolutely adores her walks and takes great joy in exploring the world, stopping to sniff every interesting scent along the way. 🧐
She’s also incredibly smart and eager to learn, picking up commands quickly and thriving on attention and interaction!
Everest is ready for her second chance - a warm bed, loving humans, and a life filled with happiness and security. 🥹

Will you be Everest's second chance? Please come and meet her.🐾

RANGER 💛

Ranger was born on the 2nd of June 2025 and was a part of Raven's litter.
He always has an inquisitive little look on his face and a curious little head tilt!🐾
He is the cutest little worm and often will decide to just lie down on the ground in a little wriggle (and in the oddest shape possible).😆
He also loves to hop up and get as close to the camera as possible! He is a little "Selfie-King".
Ranger is a mixed-breed little boy and an absolute angel! He is such a sweetheart and deserves more than to grow up with us. 🥹
He wants to explore, but more importantly, he wants to explore with YOU.

This fluffster has the heart of a child - wanting love and attention and a best friend.
Could he be your Best Friend?🙃

NESSI 💛

Nessi is a very sweet and soft girl. She came in with 3 sisters and she was ultimately the most petrified of them all.😢
Nessi has now overcome a lot of her worries but still needs a helping hand every now and then.❤️‍🩹
She is slowly adjusting to the life of love and kindness and really would be amazing in a family to teach her what a loving home is. 🏠

Please can you give Nessi a chance?💞

LESS THAN ONE DAY LEFT!!! 👻🎃

Check out what we've been up to and why you should come join the fun! ✨

29/10/2026

Thank YOU!!!

Recently we asked desperately for people to find and donate Oralade - specifically for these babies! 🐾
Because of people donating as much as they could and finding us Oralade these babies are now happy and healthy little pups.💛
Sadly we did lose two of them however four of them have been able to live because of your help.❤️‍🩹

We are so grateful to all those who reached out, helped and donated.
We couldn't do this without you and these pups wouldn't be here without you either.

Thank you to our volunteers!!! 😁

This weekend we had a bunch of volunteers come and they helped us bathe our puppies! 🐶

ALSO a huge thanks to Leeann Naidoo who donated these amazing baths for us - they have much SUCH a difference!🤩
It is so much easier now doing bath time!

Thank you so much to Yolanda!!! 💛

This week we got a huge surprise of a donation of tons of goodies for us! We got food and treats and all sorts! 🤩
Yolanda also chose to donate funds to us which is so so kind and we couldn't be more grateful!💞🐾
Thank you so so much!

These little guys are desperate for attention and for a HOME!!! 😞

Please won't you come and see them this weekend? 🥺

💛 SPOIL THE PEOPLE BEHIND PAW PRINTS! 🐾🎁

Being a dog rescuer isn't exactly a glamorous job. It's picking up p**p, scrubbing floors, washing endless loads of laundry, cleaning kennels and getting your hands dirty every single day. It's working through the rain, the heat, the exhaustion and the emotional heartbreak that comes with caring for sick, injured and neglected dogs and pups.

It takes a very special kind of person to do this work. People who show up, day after day, 365 days a year, and keep giving their hearts to animals who need them.

Our team works incredibly hard behind the scenes to care for over 130 dogs, and we honestly couldn't do what we do without them. 💛

So, this festive season, we'd love to give OUR PAW PRINTS HEROES a little something back!

We're putting together festive food hampers for our different teams, and we're asking our wonderful supporters to help us fill them with everyday essentials, food staples and a few festive treats.

Every donated item is a little way of saying THANK YOU for the hard work, the dirty hands, the tired feet and the enormous hearts.

Let's show our team some love this Festive Season!

Please take a look at our poster to see how you can help. Every little bit makes a difference!

MAX💛

This little boy is absolutely adorable! His fluffy coat is simply irresistible, and we can't help but admire him!😍
While we aren't certain of his exact age, we believe he is at least a few years old. He may be a bit shy and nervous, but he is incredibly sweet and would thrive in a loving, patient home. 🥰
Max has faced some challenges in his life and hasn't experienced the love and care every dog deserves. He was left at our gates some time ago...
He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with his cabin mates; he’s also good with kids! Max is truly a stunning boy, and we are eagerly looking for a forever home for him!🤩

He is just so lovable!
Will you bring this lovely boy into your home?🐾
