Love those bright red, orange or yellow vygies flowering in the veld now? Drosanthemums aka douvygies, so named as the large water cells in the leaves resemble dew. They cannot be grown from cuttings as other vygies and need to be propped from soft material or seed. D.bicolor, speciosa, splendens, flavum and hallii now available in flower.

This must be the best advert ever for Felecia Puintjie Blou, growing together and flowering together this season with hermannia saccifera. Puntjie Blou is such a winner, flowers throughout summer, full sun yet tolerant of shady areas and vigorous enough to fill empty spaces without becoming invasive.👏

Pelargonium glutinosum, a delightful addition to any garden. Adaptable to most soils and surprisingly frost hardy, the leaves are deeply incised, giving wonderful texture to flowerbeds, full sun to semi-shade.

Salvia runcinnata, soft sprays of pale blue flowers that stand up above the plant. Its pineapple-y scented leaves are deeply segmented and its soft, bright green foliage adds to its delicate appearance. It has a rambling growth habit, and tends to root itself as it grows between other plants. Good medium height gap filler.
