ACVV Barrydale The ACVV Barrydale is a non profit social workers office rendering service to our community.

Due to the fact that we are registered as a separate non-profit organization (NPO nr 151-633) and thus operating as an independent financial unit, we are responsible for managing and funding our own office, service programs, projects and events. We therefore heavily rely on donations, fund raisers and volunteers to finance our expenses and help with projects. While we have made some great strides

these past years, at the moment our biggest concern is keeping our office up and running. With the Covid-19 pandemic restricting our ability to have fundraising events, as well as the loss of income from previous donors who currently cannot afford to donate to our cause we are staring a financial crisis in the face. With your help we will be able keep our doors open and be of service to our community. Your donation will be used for the sole purpose of being able to provide a central point where any member of the community can come to when in need as well as allow us to do our best, daily assisting with the various needs of our community and surrounds. Rest assured that we implement effective, efficient and transparent financial management and internal control mechanisms to guard against fraud, theft and financial mismanagement. In the in the spirit of transparency, please find an example of our monthly budget for the past 3 months attached. The ACVV Barrydale has been approved for Tax Exemption, by the South African Revenue Service ( PBO nr 930061636 ), this allows us to issue an 18A Tax Certificate to you or your business, all donations made to our organization are exempt from Donations Tax and you can claim back a percentage of your donation made to us
