Prune every sucker? Never prune? Leave two stems? Let them go feral?
Welcome to one of gardening’s favorite arguments. 🍅😂
My answer: neither side is completely right.
I prune early for airflow and disease control because Georgia heat and humidity can be brutal. But later in the season, I usually let them run wild.
Big tomatoes, more tomatoes, easier management, more shade…there are tradeoffs with all of it.
Gardening isn’t a test. It’s experimenting and finding what works in your garden.
