The Mona Pants Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit. Our mission is to help to raise money for dog rescue groups, animal sanctuaries, and shelters. The Mona Pants Foundation also provides K9 Officers with protective gear (bulletproof vests) and Pet Oxygen Kits for first responders. We provide animals shelters with Kuranda Beds for comfort (with our partner, Animal Rescue Aid) and we pay
to spay/neuter shelter dogs before adoption. We network dogs in rescue groups all over the country and help with adoption, transport, and any all medical care needed. Our goal is to help dogs and the people that rescue them in any way possible. Mona is an advocate for adopting, spaying and neutering and strengthening laws to prevent cruelty. We have helped animal sanctuaries with housing and supplies and even purchased a wheelchair for a sheep born with a leg deformity. We have saved horses from the "kill pen" and built shelter structures at area animal shelters. We raise money in unique ways...Mona Pants has an online shop with dog toys, tshirts, and "Mona Gear" and we host a weekly auction on our Mona Pants Auction Group Page. Each week, a dog or rescue or cause is chosen to be the recipient. In 2022, we raised over $70k via our auctions for groups all over the United States. In April of 2022, we open our first retail (thrift style boutique) in Zebulon, NC. Mona's Mintage offers a wide selection of vintage jewelry, curated gently used clothing and handbags, antiques, local art, beads, and much much more. $28k was raised through shop sales in 2022 for our programs. Mona's Mintage will be opening a second location in downtown Raleigh in 2023. In addition to our shop fundraising, we have raised over $85k in monetary donations from our amazing online supporters. Mona's Momma has been involved in dog rescue for 17 years. She owned a boutique in Raleigh, NC (Cat Banjo) and has rescued and re-homed over 120 dogs. Most of the dogs were medically challenged, abused or victims of cruelty. She has used her artwork and jewelry to raise money and has depended greatly on donations from customers. The Mona Pants Foundation has taken the rescue/fundraising to a national level where groups from all over the country can be helped. We hope you will share our page and be entertained by Mona's antics. We hope that you will shop in Mona's shop, online and in-person, for gifts and goodies that will make you smile AND help a dog in need. Mona Pants lives in Zebulon, NC with her siblings: Tunie, Piper, and Emmie. It’s a full house that provides endless shenanigans for Mona to report. We hope you enjoy our Pants Family!
