Earlier this week, the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health released the 2026 State Report Cards. North Carolina received a C. 🔵

While this is a slight improvement from our C- grade over the past two years, the message is clear: there is still significant work to do for maternal families across our state.

A "C" means we are making incremental progress in screening and policy, but it also means too many parents are still falling through the cracks when it comes to finding providers, accessing treatment, and securing foundational support.

At PSI-NC, we are working every day to so that a "C" state doesn't mean a failing grade for your mental health. Progress is good, but our goal is a comprehensive, thriving village for every single parent in North Carolina.

📣 Important Tournament Update 📣

Our 2nd Annual Fathers & Fairways Charity Golf Classic has been rescheduled to Friday, August 28th.

We’re excited to continue building an incredible experience for our golfers, sponsors, and supporters while raising support for families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss.

⛳ Team registration (and Early Bird!) remains open
⛳ Sponsorship opportunities are still available
⛳ Great contests, prizes, food (courtesy of City Barbeque - Wendell), and fellowship are still on the way!

This Month in Review at the Wendell Woman’s Club

Our members have been busy making connections, creating with purpose, and supporting our community. 💜

This month, we created beautiful glass flower vases that were donated to Angel Prints, an organization that supports women and families experiencing the heartbreaking loss of an infant. It was such a meaningful project, and we were honored to contribute something made with love.

We also celebrated our past president before her upcoming move this June. She has been such a special part of our club, and while we will miss her dearly, we are excited for her next chapter.

We then hosted our monthly Mix & Mingle evening. While these community nights take time to grow, we had a sweet turnout filled with conversation, laughs, and connection. Building community starts one gathering at a time, and we are excited to continue watching it grow.

Reminder: Mix & Mingle takes place every third Wednesday of the month, and we would love to see even more faces next time!

We are looking forward to making June even more exciting. ✨
