This afternoon, in Room 2, Cindy from the Muskingum County Literacy Council came in to play Author's Purpose with the kiddos. A game about figuring out whether the author is trying to persuade, inform, or entertain the reader. We learned how to use context clues to decide the Author's Purpose! πŸ“–

Friday Fun in Room 2!!

We started off our morning with pipe cleaner fun, paper swap, and writing a short play to motivate us to write our big play (coming soon). 🎭

Then, we had a lovely visit from Soil and Conservation & Urban Greens to teach us about erosion. ⛰️

Finally, the Y came in to teach us about weight lifting and play some soccer. ⚽️

Overall, the day was a huge success with more fun fridays to come!
