🎨 You Are Invited to Saturday Art Club! 🎨 Our Saturday Art Club is a completely FREE creative gathering presented by The JW & MH Straker Charitable Foundation, hosted by the Colony Square Mall and supported by local businesses like Cornell Insurance and other friends. It is held on the second Saturday of each month, at the Colony Square Mall during the school year.
Why? Because we believe the arts and engaging creative practice should be accessible to all, and that powerful things happen when we sit down at a table together. When we create together, incredible things happen:
Community Health Improves: Art isn't just about making beautiful things – it's about building a healthier, more connected community. When we gather to create, we reduce stress, forge meaningful social connections, develop pride in our local community, and improve our collective mental health and well-being.
Young People Thrive: We're especially committed to providing extracurricular arts access for students. So we are excited to provide opportunities for creative expression, that help young people build self-confidence, develop critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and communication skills – abilities that translate directly into improved academic performance and lifelong success.
Everyone is welcome at Saturday Art Club– no experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and creativity! Materials are provided.
Are you a business or individual who is Interested in building a more vibrant, connected, and creative community together! You can still join in as a sponsor and share in the impact. Visit our Arts Impact Sponsor Page for more: https://www.goodcitycreatives.com/arts-impact-fund
