Former Wesleyan pastor Luke Nelson, Jr., shares his journey to the Catholic Faith:

"One day I discovered something truly amazing that changed my life forever... All my life it had been just down the street, or over in the next town, but I was blind to its beauty. The place is known as the Catholic Church, and it is there that I have more fully come to understand what it means to be born again; and it is there I have found a key for every door. In this setting, once unknown, an Evangelical Protestant pastor has experienced an environment where nothing has changed, but everything is different."

Dino Remedios had Catholic roots, but by the time he was a teenager, he considered himself pretty firmly agnostic.

He shares the circumstances that led him to read through the New Testament on his own for the first time, and what he discovered about Jesus, about Christianity, and about himself.

NEW episode of On the Journey!

Former Baptist pastor Ken Hensley continues his series with Matt Swaim and Kenny Burchard about how the theological framework of Dispensationalism began to fall apart for him.

In this episode, they begin to unpack the prophecies of Jesus in Matthew 24, when the Lord warns his apostles of coming destruction and tragedy.

So what was Jesus referring to? What did this mean for the Temple? And when does Jesus indicate these prophecies will be fulfilled?

Through his time in ministry school and during his years serving in various congregational leadership roles, Grant Adams wanted to preach the Gospel faithfully, and worship Jesus truly.

During those years, he helped lead the Lord’s Supper in a number of different contexts, and while they were meaningful in their own way, Grant felt like something important was missing from his understanding of what Jesus had called his apostles to do at their last meal together.

Grant shares how his desire to honor the words and intention of Jesus at the Last Supper led him to look into the practice of the earliest Christians, and discover a Eucharistic theology that resolved the questions and tension he’d been dealing with about the meaning of Holy Communion.

A CHNetwork Member Asks:

"I’ve been reading the Catechism, and there’s a lot that makes sense to me, but there’s a lot that goes over my head, and I’m a little intimidated at how much there is to learn… I’m afraid I can never become Catholic, because I don’t think I can ever absorb it all. How much information do I have to know before I can make an 'informed' decision to become Catholic?"

It's a great question... how much DO you need to know before you can become Catholic?

The rapture, the tribulation, the rebuilding of the temple... these are all intrinsic to the prophetic vision of the Dispensationalist worldview.

But are they reflective of what the Bible actually teaches about the Kingdom of the Messiah?

Ken Hensley, a former Baptist pastor who used to preach Dispensationalism, looks at how the assumptions of that world view require it to come up with a conclusion about the prophetic timeline, and then go back to find scriptures to support it, rather than allowing Jesus and the authors of the New Testament to tell us how these prophecies are fulfilled.

The rapture, the tribulation, the rebuilding of the temple... these...
