This Friday is Chip Night!! We’re celebrating recovery milestones & victories. 🙌🏾 The journey to healing & freedom start the moment you walk in the doors of CR. God will do for you what you can’t don’t for yourself..

❤️‍🩹 OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE: HELP PEOPLE FIND FREEDOM.

Celebrate Recovery exists to help people find freedom and healing from their hurts, hang-ups, and habits through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

And you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.

Come as you are.

Celebrate Recovery is a place where we can get honest about what's happening in our lives without judgment, experience God's grace, and walk alongside a Forever Family that understands none of us were meant to do life alone.

But CR is also about so much more than attending a weekly meeting.

🙌 Celebrate Recovery is a discipleship ministry.

We're learning what it means to follow Jesus, surrender our lives to Him, grow spiritually, and let Him transform how we live.

🤝 Celebrate Recovery is a community engagement ministry.

We don't want to keep the hope we've found inside the walls of our churches. We want to carry Jesus' love and hope into our families, churches, neighborhoods, prisons, workplaces, and communities.

🔥 Celebrate Recovery is a leadership factory.

People walk through the doors looking for help and, over time, God can use their healing and testimony to help someone else.

The person sitting quietly in their first meeting today may become a sponsor tomorrow.

The person beginning a Step Study may someday lead one.

The person who once believed their story was filled with too much brokenness may discover that God can use that very story to introduce someone else to Jesus.

That's discipleship. That's community. That's recovery.

But none of it happens because of us.

We can't do this without Jesus Christ leading the way. ✝️

Good morning. “Fulfill your God given Purpose.”

We are always in the middle of a process. We are constantly learning things and once we learn something we then apply it to our lives.

We are “commanded” by Jesus to “make” disciples. Jesus didn’t tell his disciples to go to every nation and make converts who would later fill buildings just to have a place to meet and fellowship.

We were commanded to instruct people with what we have learned through The Father, Son and Holy Spirit to “build” the Kingdom of God here on earth. To duplicate in other’s what was done for us, in us and through us.

Jesus came to seek those that were broken, diseased, sick, blind, lame, spiritually lost and He uses people like you and I to fulfill His purpose so that He would be glorified in the process.

We “follow Jesus, we “find family” and we “fulfill His purpose” and we do all of this with the authority that has been given to Jesus and He empowers all of us to be bold as a lion, courageous and confident to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to EVERYONE we purposefully come in contact with.

If He came to seek. That means He purposefully came looking for someone. That is what we do. Not comfort, not special timing, not when we get our biblical degrees, not when we become part of an organization, but when we get empowered by the Holy Spirit to “GO.”

I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield of life my friends. You might not realize it yet, but you have all of heavens resources inside of you right now. That’s revelation power.

Good morning. “FIND FAMILY.”

It is good because it reflects God’s heart. Not everything is good and not everything good is pleasant but everything in Christ is good and pleasant especially when believers in Christ are living together in unity.

Sounds too good to be true right? David pens this knowing that relationships get tested. People have their good and bad days but here he is referring to God’s people living amongst each other, doing life together and making a difference while doing it.

It’s one thing to tolerate someone or even act as if it is only temporary and I don’t have to talk to this person for long, but it means something to Jesus when the body of Christ are, “in God’s word together, real fellowship, breaking bread on purpose and praying to change the outcome.”

Finding family means that you believe in God’s two greatest commandments. Love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor like yourself.

Family may not always do it right, but they are important to Jesus and they should be important to us. Who is family? Everyone who calls on the name of Jesus. So it is very important that we do as Jesus does. He came to seek and save that which is lost.

Start praying, believing for your families salvation, neighbors salvation, people at your work, or those Jesus places in your path.

I am praying for courage, patience, peace and no fear when stepping out and loving people in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning. “Follow Jesus.”

Jesus chose common people with ordinary lives to do extraordinary things.

He chose people who were “doing” things. It’s hard to get people to do anything when their lives have been about anything but themselves. This is why I say this. The fishermen had to have courage, patience, and stamina. Jesus wasn’t asking people who weren’t willing to get dirty.

Why? Jesus chose them this way, because of the mission that He was about to send them on. When dealing with people, sometimes it’s like catching fish. You have to have the courage to be in deep places. Have the patience to have conversations with all types of people, and have the faith to believe that you will catch people right where they are at.

“Surely the good qualities of successful fishermen would make for success in the difficult ministry of winning lost souls: courage, the ability to work together, patience, energy, stamina, faith, and tenacity. Professional fishermen simply could not afford to be quitters or complainers!” (Wiersbe)

Jesus will never make us do something He hasn’t done Himself. In order to “follow” Jesus, we will have to stop finding excuses to find our way out instead of finding our way in.

Follow Jesus and you’ll do what Jesus does. Follow Jesus and He will show us what it means to exemplify His character into a world that seriously needs the fruits of the Spirit walked out in front of them.

Good morning. Real faith is backed by action.

Don’t let your excuse in prayer remove you from opportunities. Some people pray themselves out of being a blessing. This is what I mean. “I need to pray about it.”

Although this is true about everything we do, prayer should be a lifestyle. We should already be prayed up about everything in our lives, so when we see a need, we have already been in prayer, been in God’s word, walking in Holy Spirit wisdom and understanding to do be ready to execute what we prayed about.

See a need, Fill a need. It’s not good enough to see someone that has nothing to eat or wear and we say, “I’ll pray about it.” Are we really praying about it and are we coming back to that person to explain why or why not our prayer revealed the answer “we” were looking for.

James goes on to speak about faith without works being dead. Scripture tells us that we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. We walk by faith and not by sight. The Jesus in us reveals what comes from us or dictates what comes from us.

Bottom Line: Don’t say, “I’ll pray about your situation, but offer no help.” It’s like telling someone, I hope you stay warm but offer nothing to make them warm.

I know what people say. They got themselves in that situation. Probably true. A lot of what happens is self-inflicted, but we never know why we come across opportunities that may involve us “walking by faith.”

Remember what the scripture points out. If a BROTHER or SISTER. That’s someone in the faith. That’s someone we may personally know about. That is someone we have often crossed paths with. It may be someone we go to church with.

I dislike clicks, because too often it’s what separates the Christian community, churches, different classes of Christian people. This is what I say, “put your faith where it matters. Actions speak louder than words.

What changes our mindset? The presence of God. Relationship with Jesus. Involving the Holy Spirit in everything.

What changes community? Act 2:42-47. Gods, word, fellowship, breaking bread together and prayer.

WHERE’S OUR TREASURE?

Lord, help me be about your business. Let me walk out my faith. Let me see my myself into blessings and not out of blessings. Thank you for guiding my thoughts that will become actions in Jesus name, Amen.

Good morning. Grow more to your capacity.

I love how the Apostle Paul addresses the Thessalonian church because of their faith.

It would be easy and comfortable to want to take a break from being persecuted in any way just to get some relief.

This is not the case here. what often happens is that we treat our Christianity as a typical vacation in times of trouble. Paul commends this church for them sticking it out with one another and goes on to notice that their faith “exceedingly” grows.

This church is not placing a “lid” on their faith capacity. When you think you’ve reached your capacity, “GROW” more. When you think that you don’t have faith, “take the lid off” and let it overflow.

Don’t get used to being on vacation away from the purpose of God for your life. That shouldn’t be a thing. We shouldn’t be too comfortable just standing on the sidelines of life and letting other’s do the work of the ministry while we “do nothing. “

It’s all believers responsibility to “Go and make disciples. You either believe you don’t have the capacity in Christ to do it or you just choose not to do it.

Lord, I choose You. I choose to walk in victory, receive everything that you have given me and obediently walk by faith and submit myself to you for the work of the ministry. I refuse to have to be begged to love people, feed people, fellowship with the body of Christ, get into your word and pray. Lord, protect my thoughts and what comes out from my mouth. That it would be used to edify and encourage all those that cross my path and Lord, I thank you for the salvation of the Lord upon my life for your glory in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am praying that your faith grows “exceedingly” above what you can ever imagine. Walk by faith and not by sight. Walk freely today in victory. Have a great day.

Good morning. We were never intended to live in survival mode. Read the whole thing and open your bibles and pray the Holy Spirit gives you wisdom to understand it all.

Living in survival mode, is living always expecting everything to be a war of challenges. It’s the mindset of maybe it will or maybe it won’t. It’s never feeling like who you are is never enough and there’s always a catastrophe waiting around every corner, but God’s word paints a different picture, a different story.

God’s word tells us that we were foreigners, outcasts, but now we are adopted Sons and Daughters. In the scriptures in Chapter 5 it tells us that we are sons of the light and sons of the day. We don’t live in the darkness or fear it.

There is something to say about someone who can rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks.

These are those who are in Christ that regardless of what situation comes along, survival is not whether we are going to make it or not but knowing that we are part of the family of God now and forever in eternity and that is how we base the outcome of every situation.

Not perfect, but perfected in Christ Jesus. We don’t know everything but we are given discernment through the Holy Spirit.

I am praying that in everything we seek Jesus Christ more and more for His glory. Don’t let the worries of the world dictate how you live. Have a great day.

Good morning. There is a promise of healing. By His stripes we are healed.

We must pray boldly and receive His promises of spiritual and physical healing. I won’t go into all of it but you can go into the book of Matthew and 1st Peter and find the scriptures on both types of healing.

Various Christian groups debate whether our healing comes now or ultimately when we are in eternity with Jesus.

Jesus obediently goes on the cross for everything. It is not time specific. He was crucified for our transgressions and iniquities and by His stripes we are healed. It doesn’t say healing just for the future.

Today, I await my healing. I believe by faith that I am healed, therefore my God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus whether they are physical, mental, or spiritual. Whether it’s today, tomorrow or next week.

I pray that you receive everything that you ask for. Keep asking, seeking and knocking. Keep believing. Pray without ceasing. How important is your healing to you? Then don’t stop asking.

I stand in prayer and agreement with you. We need to be more than hearers of His word but doers and receivers of His word in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Celebrate Recovery isn't only for drugs and alcohol. It's for anyone carrying a hurt, struggling with a hang-up, or trying to break an unhealthy habit.

Because the truth is, we all have something, and no one should have to face their pain alone.

Celebrate Recovery is a grace-filled, Christ-centered community where we courageously create space to get honest about what's happening in our lives.

Sometimes that means facing our pain.

Sometimes it means recognizing the negative ways we've learned to see ourselves, God, or others.

Sometimes it means admitting that the habits we developed to escape our pain have ended up hurting ourselves or the people we love.

And sometimes it simply means saying:

“I need help.”

There is no shame in that. ❤️

Celebrate Recovery offers a biblically based approach to lasting recovery as we address our hurts, hang-ups, and habits; replace unhealthy patterns with God's truth; and develop new, life-giving habits.

But we don't do any of it alone.

Jesus Christ leads the way. ✝️
