Come out to our VFW Post 8242 on Highway 95 by the tank this Wednesday, March 25th at 1pm for our last Meat Draw for this Season. Join us for an afternoon of fun & friendship & support our Auxiliary & Post. And you could also win some good cuts of meat!

The Auxiliary Treasurer Sharon Berger was happy to deliver the check to help support NCHP with their veterans & su***de prevention.

Auxiliary President for Post 8242, Sharon Berger, presented our Program Coordinator Joanne Purdy and Case Manager Marissela Hodges with a check this week! This donation will be used in our su***de prevention program, The Best is Yet to Come, in Yuma County for participants in need of bus passes. Their generosity is extremely humbling and appreciated.

We cannot do this work alone. With donations we can provide participants with extra resources that can make a huge difference between life and death. Thank you again to VFW Post 8242!

Peggy & Tye from Fisher's Landing came to our VFW Auxiliary 8242 Meeting & presented us with a Certificate of Appreciation for the help we gave at their Rib Cookoff on February 28th. Thank you to all of our Auxiliary & Post members that helped them raise money for Amberly's Place..

Join us for a respectful and meaningful Flag Retirement Ceremony at VFW Post 8242.

We will be properly retiring worn and unserviceable American flags in accordance with tradition and respect for our nation’s symbol.

Community members are welcome to attend and may bring flags in need of retirement.

Let’s come together to honor Old Glory with the dignity it deserves. 🇺🇸
