YSU Penguin Club The athletics booster club for Youngstown State University. Membership is open to alumni, friends of the university, businesses, foundations and our great fans.

Membership in The Penguin Club directly impacts our Penguin student-athletes participating in 19 Division I varsity sports. Your support helps provide scholarships and grant-in-aid, which enable our student-athletes to pursue their education while competing in the Horizon League and Missouri Football Conference. As the cost of both higher education and athletic competition continues to rise, so do

es the challenge of competing at a Championship Level. To meet this challenge, the YSU Athletic Department relies on Penguin Club membership, fund-raising events and special donors to provide the margin for excellence each year. The Penguin Club has opportunities that are unique to football through the Gridiron Club and benefits for the college basketball fan through the Courtside Coaches Club. Your support of the Penguin Club is vital to our mission of providing YSU student-athletes with educational and athletic opportunities. Beyond the personal pleasure gained from being an active Penguin Family member, your membership also brings tax advantages. Significant resources are required to support an intercollegiate athletic program and to provide opportunities to our current student-athletes and our future community leaders. That is why your support of the Penguin Club is vital in helping us continue to educate, teach and coach our student-athletes while promoting the ideals of college athletics.

A native of Canfield, Emmitt spent last year at Wright State and will join our program in the fall!
