Every Dog Matters Rescue We are a small group of volunteers with the same passion. We want to help the under dogs, the dogs that are over looked.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in the Youngstown, OH area Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted dogs by creating better lives for them through rescue, foster, training and adoption The ones that need extra time and training, the ones that need to learn to trust again. We will help any dog that we are able to but our focus will be on the ones that need the extra time to become adoptable. Every dog deserves a chance

Nolan is ready for his forever home!

This sweet boy has a calm, gentle soul and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. His favorite place is right by his people, soaking up love and enjoying the simple things in life.

Because the world can feel a little overwhelming at times, new sounds and unfamiliar situations may make Nolan nervous. He just needs a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace and show him that he’s safe.

The reward? One of the most loving companions you could ever ask for; complete with endless affection and his signature snorty kisses!

It’s hard to believe Maggie is still waiting for someone to call her own.

At just around a year old, she’s spent her entire puppyhood without a forever family, and we honestly can’t understand why. Maggie is gorgeous, full of personality, and the kind of dog who would fit beautifully into so many homes.

She loves to play, adores people, and greets every day with endless enthusiasm. If you have an active pup looking for a best friend, Maggie would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion who can match her energy. A home without cats would be the best fit for her.

Maggie has waited long enough. She deserves to spend the rest of her young life knowing what it feels like to be loved, safe, and finally home. 🥹

Some dogs spend their golden years surrounded by the family they’ve always known. Sandy is still hoping her story ends that way. 💛

At 13 years young, Sandy has mastered the art of enjoying life’s simple pleasures, such as a cozy bed, sunny afternoons in the yard, relaxing on the couch during movie nights, and soaking up all the love she can get.

She has a heart of gold and adores everyone she meets, including children. While she’s not as speedy as she once was, her gentle, affectionate personality shines brighter than ever.

Sandy is incredibly lucky to have a foster family giving her comfort, care, and plenty of love while she waits. Now all she needs is someone willing to open their heart and make that love last forever.

Meet Dutchess! The sweet soul who’s still searching for the family she’s been waiting for. 🤍

At around 2–3 years old, Dutchess is a gentle, loving girl who just needs a little extra time to feel safe. She’s shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a devoted companion who loves being close to her people.

One thing that has made a huge difference for Dutchess is having a confident canine friend by her side. (I mean look at how well she does in the video!) She enjoys taking cues from her foster sibling, playing together, and feeling like part of a family pack.

A special thank you to her amazing foster mom for believing in her and giving her the chance to come out of her shell.

Lola is looking for her forever home. ❤️🐾

Lola was found wandering near St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, and it appears she’d been on her own for quite some time. Despite everything she’s been through, this beautiful girl has already shown us just how gentle, sweet, and loving she truly is. She would be the perfect addition to any home!

She’s believed to be a Cane Corso or Mastiff mix, around 3 years old, and weighs around 84 lbs. All Lola wants is a family to call her own and a safe place where she can finally experience the love and security she deserves.

Welcome, David to Every Dog Matters Rescue!! A wonderful foster was able to help us pull him this weekend from Mahoning County Dog Warden after coming in as a stray. He already had a spa day and looks and feels SO much better since being rescued.
He is a 10 year old Shihtzu mix, so gentle and sweet. Dog and cat friendly.
