September is Su***de Prevention Month, but creating a community where people feel supported is something we can do all year long.

Know the warning signs.
Know how to start a conversation.
Know where to turn for help.
And most importantly, know that reaching out can make a difference.

Let’s build a community where asking for help is a sign of strength, talking about mental health is normal, and no one feels like they have to struggle alone.

Be the person who checks in. Be the person who listens. Be the person who stays. 💜

This week, we’re giving you three amazing locations to choose from—each combining peaceful outdoor scenery with a free, family‑friendly museum experience!
Did you know all of our museums are completely FREE?
It’s the ideal way to enjoy a budget‑friendly, educational, and fun outing.
Your adventure options this week:
• New Freedom Train Station Museum + Heritage Rail Trail
• Hanover Junction Train Station Museum + Heritage Rail Trail
• Wallace Cross Mill + Creekside relaxation, plus this week you will be in for a treat since the Mill will be celebrating its 200th birthday!

WellSpan York Hospital has been honored by The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) for their excellent performance ensuring patient safety.

Three WellSpan hospitals have been honored by The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) for their excellent performance ensuring patient safety. 👏

The Excellence in Patient Safety Recognition program honors Pennsylvania’s top-performing hospitals, using data from the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network measuring key infection rates – including central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheter-associated UTI and C-Diff.

Congratulations to our teams at WellSpan York Hospital, WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital and WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital who were honored as recipients of the 2026 Excellence in Patient Safety Recognition!
