Good things keep cropping up at the ROC.

Three greenhouses courtesy of York County Prison are set up in the courtyard, more than two dozen grow bags are filled and waiting for new plants, and tomatoes and peppers are already happy in buckets and starting to flower.

Many thanks to our friends at Life Changing Pathways, who are rallying people around this space to Plant Seeds of Recovery, and to the staff and people living in Work Release who did a ton of heavy lifting to make our little wish for a 'ROC Garden' a big reality.

We'll let you know when the 🍅🥒🫑🧅are ready!

Proud moment for York County!

YCRC Co-Chair Justin Cravener of Life Changing Pathways and Amy Evans of the York County Department of Probation Services took the podium earlier today at PCCD’s 2026 CJAB Conference to share our community’s reentry work. From the Reentry Opportunity Center to cross-system collaboration, they highlighted how York County is using lessons learned in reentry to fuel partnerships that positively impact our entire community.

It was wonderful to see such strong engagement from attendees and to be part of a broader conversation about innovation, partnership, and second chances.
