We’re getting close to Pride, and our volunteer team is taking shape — but we still have spots to fill, and we want YOU in them. 🌈

This year’s festival is Saturday, June 27, at Mills Lawn Elementary, and we need volunteers for shifts throughout the day. Not sure what volunteering at Pride actually looks like? Here’s a taste:

- Roaming the festival as a greeter, ensuring every person feels welcomed and answering questions
- Assisting with the official YS Pride Merch/Info Tent, connecting people with T-shirts, answers and good vibes
- Staffing the parade protest sign station or helping stage participants
- Keeping the grounds clean so everyone can enjoy a beautiful space
- Assisting with vendor setup, teardown and traffic control
- And more!

There’s a role for everyone. We’ll work with you to find the right fit.

Shifts are available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sign up by June 15 to receive details about our Volunteer Social on June 18 and to submit your T-shirt size (all volunteers wear official YS Pride Volunteer T-shirts!).

🎉 FESTIVAL DAY SHIFTS (Saturday, June 27)

• 12:00-3:00 p.m.
• 3:00-6:00 p.m.
• 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Volunteer roles include assisting with the parade, greeting attendees, serving as crossing guards, providing parking assistance, decorating the festival, supporting production, and more — there's something for everyone!
