Yellow Springs Pride

💜 What a day!

Thank you to the Village of Yellow Springs for capturing and sharing these wonderful moments from YS Pride 2026.

As we start planning for next year, we’d love to hear from everyone who attended. Our community survey takes about 3 minutes, and every response helps us make YS Pride even better.

Happy Equality Day!

You may not know this, but June 26 is an important day in U.S. history!

In 2003, the Supreme Court of the United States found that criminal punishment of private consensual non-procreate adults activities is unconstitutional, and such laws could not be used to criminalize homosexuality in “Lawrence.”

In 2013, the Supreme Court of the United States found that the “Defense of Marriage Act” (DOMA) is unconstitutional, and so the federal government cannot discriminate against married LGBTQ+ couples for the purposes of determining federal benefits and protections in “Windsor.”

In 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States found that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples, just as it is to opposite-sex couples, in “Obergefell.”

In 2020, the Supreme Court of the United States found that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects employees against discrimination because they are gay or transgender in “Bostock.”

️‍🌈 A little rain won't stop us.

YS Pride is a RAIN-OR-SHINE event — and we'll see you Saturday! Come celebrate with us, raindrops and all. Pack a poncho, bring your people and let's light up the day together. ☔️

The only exception is lightning or unsafe conditions, and we'll post any updates right here if anything changes.

Our Pride shines even brighter under dark skies. 💛
