CEO was formed to continue the programs and legacy of Maxine O. Jones who was the chief architect of many of the training's and programs that the organization offers today. We address the problems of economic, social, political and healthcare inequalities. These issues don’t just plague the poor in our society; everyone including the most affluent is affected and we have an opportunity to be Change Agents and do something about it. Maxine was an accomplished business woman and a global citizen. She was certainly a force to be reckoned with when it came to standing up for the undeserved and racial injustice. She especially thought it important to help wayward teens trying to find their way in a not so tolerant world. On countless occasions Maxine opened her private home to many; to anyone needing a helping hand, she would extend hers. Teri Wilke, who now lives in Colorado, was a troubled youth that Maxine reached out to when she was going through turbulent times. Ms. Wilke’s went on to receive her Master’s Degree in social work, specializing in trauma and treatment models for Native Americans and people of color-- Speaking at Maxine’s memorial she stated… “Maxine [was] such an amazing woman to me. She changed my life and now I change at-risk-kid’s lives. They all know the legacy of Mrs. Maxine Jones as my inspiration to help kids in need. I even foster them. I am so grateful to have [had her] in my life and heart”. Maxine Jones’ mantra was simple, “If you can help, then do help! – You [need to] give back more than what was given to you.” And that is exactly why CEO was formed in 2010, to help give back. We at CEO are determined to “give back more” and make a difference by designing and implementing life-empowering programs and sustainable solutions to help the people that need us most, those that Maxine embraced throughout her lifetime. Won't you please help us help others? Donate today. Thanks! We are actively seeking concerned benefactors and purpose-driven Companies that are interested in supporting our efforts towards better communities for a better future. We have a group of smart people solving hard problems. If your “purpose statement” agrees with our mission to provide high-quality, transformative, compassionate and life-empowering services and training programs to underserved communities around the world, we invite you to support our movement. Because everyone needs a Champion.
