The Chief Seattle Council membership department has been informed of an issue of people being directed to take the wrong SYT course. National is working on resolving the issue. Anyone who did not take the 90-minute course before using the renewal course needs to do so. The shortened version is good for renewal purposes AFTER once completing the FULL 90 minute course.

Now that June has arrived planning for the next Scouting year is happening. The Council calendar plays a big role in decisions and to help with that we are rolling out a new integrated calendar. The new calendar works in a similar fashion and will replace the TeamUp calendar on our web page this week.

The Black Pug calendar is easy to use on both a computer and mobile device. You can customize the calendar to suit the needs of your unit, and print it. You can switch between grid, month, and list views. There are also filters to help you see program-specific activities by program level or type. If you'd like to only see the events for your district, you can do that too. Best of all, you can subscribe to the calendar (after creating a login) and based on your filters and preferences, sync it with your own personal calendars.
Give it a try right from Black Pug now at https://scoutingevent.com/609
