On Tuesday, AnnaMaria represented ELLA at National Night Out at Sunnyside’s South Hill Park, sharing resources and connecting new faces with our work.

Community organizing happens one conversation and one connection at a time, and AnnaMaria plays an important role in making those connections happen. From supporting our programs to showing up for community events, we appreciate the care and commitment she brings to ELLA and our community. 💜

We appreciate our collaborations in Environmental Justice and raising awareness about the toxic conditions at a local school’s playground, where children deserve a safe place to learn and play. Together, we’re advocating for healthier environments for every child.

In May, we held our first community listening session in Yakima. Residents heard from policy and advocacy experts about the contaminated sites under Yakima schools, how our state's cleanup law works, and how to take action.
