Lest we forget…

During WWII, the US military was dangerously short on intelligence after decades of underfunding. The unlikely solution? Librarians. Big News from Smith Public Library (drum roll please):

We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new Outreach Van!

This exciting addition will help us bring library services and resources directly into neighborhoods throughout our community. Whether we're visiting schools, community events, senior centers, or underserved areas, our new van will help us connect with even more readers, learners, and library lovers.

Our deepest thanks to Project Judy for making this possible.

Keep an eye out for this bright and beautiful van around town. Also check our page for upcoming stops, special events, and photo opportunities.
