🌊🏴‍☠️ Back to School Bash was a SPLASH! 🏴‍☠️🌊

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing cadets from Wylie High School AFJROTC TX-200010 Booster Club for working hard all evening, volunteering with games, and helping the Booster Club sell food! Your dedication and support made the night extra special. ❤️

🎶 Thank you to Mahkya Askew (DJ TreMelo) with Premier weddings & events for creating such a fun and energetic atmosphere!

🫧 And of course, the kids had a BLAST with the bubble machine from BubbleBash! The smiles, laughter, and bubbles made for an unforgettable evening!

🛝 Special thank you to Harvest City Church for sponsoring the water slides and helping make all the splashing fun possible!

🚒 Thank you to Wylie Fire Rescue for bringing the firetruck and giving the kids an extra-fun hose-down! It was definitely a highlight of the evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our Back to School Bash such a fun night for our Pirate families! 🏴‍☠️❤️

We’re excited to partner with World Wear Project to bring a textile recycling bin to the McMillan campus!

Help keep reusable items out of landfills while supporting our school. You can donate:

👕 Clothing
👟 Shoes
👜 Belts, purses & wallets
🧢 Hats & caps
🎒 Backpacks
🧸 Hard toys & stuffed animals

Your donations are recycled into secondhand clothing, wiping rags, or fiber - giving your unwanted items a second life! 🌎♻️

💰 McMillan earns $0.15 for every pound donated!

📍 Drop-off: The World Wear Project bin is located in the McMillan school parking lot and is available anytime.

⚠️ Please help us keep our campus clean: If your items do not fit inside the bin, please do not leave them on the ground outside of it.

Students are invited to enjoy a sweet treat from the Dippin’ Dots Truck on Thursday, September 3rd! 🎉 A portion of every purchase will be donated back to our school. ❤️

During 7th & 8th grade lunch and privilege times, students can head outside to the truck to make a purchase.
