PV250 is proud to have Worcester Township, PA join the Perkiomen Valley 250 initiative as a Patriot Sponsor!
Nestled in the heart of Montgomery County, Worcester was founded in 1733, incorporating several local villages such as Center Point, Cedars, and Fairview Village. Continental Army forces encamped in Worcester several times during the Revolutionary War, most notably when General George Washington stayed at the Peter Wentz Farmstead in 1777–twice! Hear all about it on a guided tour of the Wentz house, which is now a historic site.
