Following a 30-day follow-up after a confirmed diagnosis of Lyme disease, which was initially suspected due to symptoms, Teddy showed significant improvement. The adage "when a dog knows they know" holds some truth, as experienced veterinarians can accurately diagnose conditions with a high degree of certainty. Teddy's pain issues and lack of response to other medications prompted us to conduct a Lyme disease test, which confirmed the diagnosis. After a month of medication, Teddy's condition improved substantially, with notable enhancements in his blood levels. We will continue to monitor his progress over the coming months to prevent any potential regression. It is essential for pet owners to recognize subtle changes in their pets' behavior and seek veterinary care promptly if they notice any unusual signs. Even minor physical changes can significantly impact an animal's behavior. Regular monitoring and maintaining their health is crucial.

Over the past week, we have had 8 appointments for our senior animals, with 7 of these visits being to the veterinarian for 6 different dogs. These appointments included sickness exams, rechecks, and wellness exams. Given the unpredictable nature of our seniors' health, it is essential to be vigilant and responsive to any changes in their condition. We are grateful for the support of our community, which plays a vital role in enabling us to help us provide care for our seniors. Your contributions, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, are deeply appreciated and make a significant difference in the lives of our animals.

It was a spa day for Miss Cutie today she’s so 🥰 adorable. Her fur grows so quickly now that she came undiagnosed with Cushing and is now on Vetoryl her fur grows back beautifully 🥹🥹.
