This past weekend, members of Little River Elementary PTA had the opportunity to attend the Georgia PTA Convention & Leadership Training (CLT) at Mill Creek Middle School in Woodstock. The conference provided valuable leadership development, networking opportunities, and resources to help PTA leaders continue making a positive impact in their school communities. Key speakers included Georgia State School Superintendent Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis and Congresswoman Lucy McBath, who shared inspiring messages about advocacy, leadership, and supporting children across Georgia.

Thank you to Georgia PTA, President Anita Hagins Jones, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis, Congresswoman Lucy McBath, and all of the presenters who invested their time and expertise in strengthening PTA leadership across our state.

📣Currently, we are seeking community partners for the 2026-2027 school year. We have many different ways your business can help support Little River PTA including:

👉Hosting a percentage night (or day!) fundraiser at your business, where proceeds benefit Little River PTA.
👉Supporting the school on a monetary basis that includes different sponsor benefits at our upcoming school events. (Due August 7th to take advantage of our flyer sent home to families)
👉Being included on the back of our PTA membership card with a discount offer that our families can take advantage of throughout the '26-‘27school year. (MUST COMMIT BY June 30th).
👉Donate coupons for your products or services that we can include in parent PTA membership bags at open house in July 2026 (Approximately quantity 600 on or before July 19th).
