🌿 Would You Pray Over These Seats? 🌿

As I prepare for our Blooms by Jesus gathering on Monday, June 15, I keep finding myself praying not about the paintings, the supplies, or the details...

But about the women.

The women who will walk through the doors carrying burdens.
The women who need encouragement.
The women who are longing to hear God's voice.
The women who need a reminder that they are deeply loved.

🌿 I don't know what Holy Spirit will do next...

And honestly, I think that's part of the beauty.

Every Blooms by Jesus gathering begins with a simple yes. A yes to show up. A yes to make room. A yes to slow down long enough to hear His voice.

What happens after that is often beyond what I could have planned.

Conversations that go deeper than expected.
Peace that settles over the room.
Encouragement arriving at just the right moment.
Women realizing they are not alone.
Creative expression becoming an act of worship.

This month we'll gather around Ephesians 3:20 and reflect on the God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.

I don't know exactly what He will do on Monday, June 15.

But I know He is faithful to meet us when we make room for Him.

🌿 The next Blooms by Jesus gathering is open… and every time, I’m amazed at the gentle ways God meets us in creativity.

What begins as paint on a page often becomes space to breathe, slow down, listen, reflect, worship, and remember that growth rarely happens through striving.

This month we’ll gather around the promise of:

Because sometimes His plan looks slower than ours… and sometimes what He grows is far more beautiful than what we would have planted ourselves.

Today one woman shared that Blooms by Jesus felt very therapeutic.

While this isn’t therapy, hearing that reminded me how rare it can feel to simply slow down… create… reflect… and be present.

This month we reflected on Psalm 1:
🌿 planted
🌿 rooted
🌿 nourished
🌿 fruit in season

Maybe many of us need spaces that invite us back to those things.

A lot of Blooms by Jesus happens before anyone walks through the door…

flowers, refreshments, worship, prayer, preparing a peaceful space.

I’m learning that creating atmosphere can be an act of care too. 🌿

Today was our third Blooms by Jesus gathering, and I’m leaving grateful. 🌿

We spent time reflecting on Psalm 1 — the picture of being planted by streams of water, rooted, nourished, and bearing fruit in season. There was painting, conversation, quiet moments, and space to simply be.

One of my favorite parts of these gatherings is watching women return… and watching them bring friends. It reminds me that maybe what many of us are craving isn’t more striving — but spaces to slow down, create, connect, and sit with Jesus.

Thank you to each woman who came and shared your time, your story, and your creativity today. 🤍
