Woodstock Garden Club

Woodstock Garden Club Our purpose is to encourage an interest in gardening, to aid in the beautification of the town and to help protect and conserve our natural resources.

The purpose of the Woodstock Garden Club is:

To encourage an interest in gardening in our community
To aid in the beautification of the town
To aid in the protection and conservation of our natural resources
Our membership is made up of a vibrant group of people with a keen interest in gardening. Garden Club members meet during the spring and summer months at various locations as described in

our Programs page. Each summer our Program Committee arranges diverse field trips throughout the area. Besides meetings and trips, the major activities of the club include our annual Plant Sale and Country Kitchen fund raising event and planting and maintaining the Village planters. Money raised from our fund raising event is contributed to local organizations that share our purpose. In addition, each year we present a scholarship to a graduating Woodstock Union High School senior who will be continuing her/his education in a horticultural field. Organizations which have benefited from our donations include the elementary schools in the Woodstock area, the Norman Williams Public Library, the Four Winds Nature Institute, The King’s Daughters, the Thompson Senior Center, and the Yoh Theatre Players.
